RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 136”

Pam, originally from San Diego, has been living in an Airstream out in Yuma, AZ. She was in the midst of a cross country motorcycle trip when she walked through Boho’s doors looking for a van to call her own. We knew working with Pam was gonna be a fun, as we showed her around our facility completely decked out in her motorcycle jacket and boots. She ultimately wanted to hit the road with ease, and her parked Airstream wasn’t doing the trick.

Walter (named after Pam’s favorite pet) is built on a Ram Promaster 136” - with a “Patriot Blue” factory paint job The short wheelbase is perfect for Pam because she’s a solo traveler and wanted to prioritize “drivability”.

The van is equipped with 400 watts of solar, powering 300ah of AGM battery bank to power her fridge, lights, water pump, outdoor shower, 110 outlets, and roof fan. Shore power through her Victron Multiplus Inverter, and an Orion DC DC isolator will ensure she’s always got power even off grid.

The design is truly unique to Pam! Walter is loaded with windows, and Pam chose the unique bedding, upholstery, flooring and leather handle cabinet pulls.

A large butcher block kitchenette was installed for prep, which also includes a built-in propane 2-burner stove.

Her dining table slides out from under the bed, which also houses 25 gallons of fresh water and 2.6 gallon hot water heater to use with her outdoor shower. Her awning pole is also secured under the bed to make her Thule awning easy to deploy.

Walter and Pam are “full-timers” and we are excited to follow their travels together. Pam plans on picking up her bike from Yuma, and towing it cross country to Montana for the summer - spending time in Colorado and Wyoming to visit friends.
