story:

Kim spent thirty-two years working as a middle school teacher and coach in her home state of Wyoming. Each spring, she flies down to Arizona to work Spring Training for the Oakland A’s.

During her last gig with the Cactus League, Kim stopped by the Boho shop to discuss building out her own camper van.

Kim enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling to new places and meeting the locals. She knew “van life” would be a great way to continue these passions.

From Kim, “The idea of just finding the great spot on an ocean beach, a mountain lake or a friends driveway and being able to set up camp appealed to me.”

Her van is named Chaos, as Kim believes everyone needs a little Chaos in their life!

Chaos dazzles with clean, modern finishes including Glacier Stone tile, light Beach upholstery, and an off-white painted ceiling to contrast the “woody cabin” walls and cabinetry.

Screened windows flank the bed, creating a gentle cross breeze for sleeping.

As with all of Boho’s vans, Kim’s Chaos has plenty of off-grid power for her to enjoy without needing shore power (though she does have a shore power hookup to use in rare circumstances).

Further upgrades include a custom toilet slide-out tray, a rooftop awning, hot water heater, and an interior divider wall to provide extra storage and privacy.

Kim’s inaugural trip with Chaos took her to Imperial Sand Dunes, over to San Diego and up the coast to Dana Point. She stopped off in Colorado for a bit before heading back to Wyoming. From there, she will start planning her 2022 departures.

With Chaos, we know Kim will find much stillness on the road. Onward!
