RAM Promaster 3500 High Roof 159” Extended

story:

Dave and Ann have been RV camping enthusiasts for years having taken many family camping vacations to NZ, Canada, and across the States. They also love going to local music festivals in their beloved Blue Ridge Mountains including Floydfest, Red Wing and Rooster Walk. They recently sold their beloved and challenging 1977 GMC Palm Beach motor home - “Nelson” was one of a kind and will be missed, but they are super excited about their new adventures with their reliable and beautiful Nelly.

Dave is a geriatric psychiatrist and Ann is an artist. They also own two neighborhood restaurants which feature local music and brews, and serve yummy comfort food.

Nelly was built on a RAM 3500 Extended, which presents nearly two extra feet of interior cargo space. We worked with Dave and Ann on how to make the best use of the added space, and decided on a driver swivel desk with flip-up butcher block table.

Nelly is built for all types of weather as it has both a rooftop AC unit and an Espar Heat System. Weather it’s hot or cold, Dave and Ann will be comfortable inside.

Their cooking setup consists of a large 75L Dometic chest style fridge, a Dometic flush-mounted two burner stove, Ruvati drop-in sink and plenty of storage for their pots, pans and accessories.

Both the rear cargo doors and the passenger slider door have drop down bug screens as well as a “garage set” to keep the belongings under their bed private.

Dark tones round out Nelly including a factory Granite Crystal paint job, black cabinet trim paint, a black Fiamma roof awning and matte black hexagonal tile.

Dave and Ann’s menagerie at home includes two cats, three dogs, and four horses. With the addition of Nelly the “wander wagon”, they are blissfully navigating their journey back east and looking forward to many more fun travels.
