Amanda and Josh wanted to travel and explore North America at their own pace.

After decades of working in the military, public education, and real-estate, now was the time to focus on family and their specifically their grandchildren.

They had both spent years determining exactly the best way to travel and became exhausted searching for “the one set-up that could do it all”.

As lifelong travelers and voyagers, the couple ultimately decided Boho was the best choice. The decision was attributed to flexibility, quality, and a ringing endorsement from Tom Green!

The name Kashmir originates from the Led Zeppelin song of the same name. The song has a heavy, driving, and mysterious sound. It’s a soundtrack to something BIG!

Kashmir (the van) is a symbol for the couple’s third act in life. Their kids are grown, their careers have been established, and new opportunities lie ahead. Kashmir will set the tempo for what adventures are to follow.

Kashmir’s upgrades were specifically chosen for Josh and Amanda’s needs. The convertible sofa bed is for their grandson and future granddaughter. The heater was added for planned trips to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Alaska. The roof rack and ladder allows for flexibility to add other toys and interests in the future (kayak? why not!?)

Other upgrades include a powerful Lithium ion house battery bank, a hot water heater, a kitchen counter extension and plenty of screened windows.

Both Josh and Amanda are ready for the physical challenges of living and working outdoors, as they’re ready to experience what their careers have delayed for so long.

Amanda and Josh will spend their first year in the Midwest completing military school while appreciating life closer to family. After that, the plan is to settle down in West Texas.
