story:

Gunnar and Virginia are used to traveling by sea.

For the last three years, the couple have worked together on boats traveling the world. Gunnar is a 15-year yacht captain (originally from TX) and Virginia a dive instructor (originally from GA).

It has always been a dream of theirs to travel with their home, equipment and toys all in one place as they often find themselves on road trips between boat trips.

Their favorite place? Baja, Mexico. The freedom to park in beautiful, isolated locations and break out the surf board is why they’ve decided to relocate their permanently.

After years of living on ships, the interior layout of a Boho Van appealed to them, and after weeks of discussion, Vantasia was born!

A custom van through and through, Vantasia incorporates the road-trip vehicle Gunnar and Virginia envisioned as it sports a large off-grid battery system, rear pull-out bike tray, bug screens and a kitchenette with flexible counter space.

Vantasia is meant for off-grid temperature swings as it incorporates a cabin heat system that runs off the gasoline tank, and various fans to keep the space cool in the summer.

Final features to note with Vantasia include a Fiamma roof awning, multiple lighting zones, a hot outdoor shower and a stainless steel fridge/freezer.

Gunnar and Virginia are currently on a road trip in their new van, starting on the east coast and heading down to Baja, MX, where they will start their family and future home.
